Join TREA and get representation for Veterans issues.  We want to represent you and get Congressional action on the issues, for those who served.  All of us no matter if you are Guard, Reserve or Regular, Enlisted or Officer, State or Federal could have been involved or were involved in some conflict to secure our interests and freedom any where or time.  We salute those who continue to fight and have fought and have given the ultimate sacrifice.

TREA Washington Update for July 25, 2008

This is a sad day for The Retired Enlisted Association. Today is the funeral of our National President Patrick W. Corbett in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. He was buried with full military honors at Union Cemetery.

President Corbett dedicated years working for TREA. First he worked in local Chapters and then as a member of TREA’s the Board of Directors, then as Second Vice President, First Vice President and for the last 2 years as National President. All of us will miss him deeply. He died suddenly last Saturday shortly after the birth of his 5th grandchild. He moved back to Bellefonte in 2004, from Denver, CO, to be near his three adult children, Patrick Jr., Carrie and Michael, that he loved and was so proud of. He had served in the Marine Corps for 23 years, including two tours of duty in Vietnam, retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant. But, of course, he was always a Marine. Again we will all miss him. Semper Fidelis.
